Since 2016, EquiSchoen has offered the possibility to rent hoofboots and test them at home. You pay a deposit, after which the rent of € 15 per week (per couple) will be deducted from the deposit. Useful for anyone who is planning to buy hoofboots, but would like to test first before buying. We understand that all too well.

How does it work?
After you have received confirmation from us by e-mail that the desired pair of hoofboots is available, you can order the rental shoes until Thursday 12:00 at the latest. We process the requests in order of arrival and send the rental / test boots no later than Thursday afternoon, so that you can try the boots extensively during the weekend. You then ensure that the rental boots (cleaned) are delivered to us no later than Wednesday. In consultation, this period can be extended for the same rental rate per week. If the hoofboots stay away longer than agreed, a double rental rate will be deducted from the deposit for each additional week. Communication and alignment thus prevents discomfort on both sides.
Cost
You pay a deposit, on which the rent is subsequently deducted.
If you want to purchase hoofboots, the remaining deposit will be converted into a voucher minus the rent. If you have already ordered the new pair before we have received the rental hoofboots back, we will transfer the amount of the deposit minus the rent back to you. If you do not want to purchase hoofbootss, we will refund the deposit with the rent reduction to you; with approximately two working days you will have your credit credited back to your bank account.
Cleaning costs are charged if the hoofboots are not returned clean. All shipping costs are for the tenant. In the event of loss or damage, other than normal wear and tear, these costs will be passed on to you.
Preferably email us beforehand. There is a lot of demand, so inquire about availability in time. In consultation, two different sizes can be sent, because not every horse has two equal hooves. If you place an order, you confirm that you agree to these terms and conditions. This service is only available in the Netherlands and Belgium.
